Hot Fudge Sauce

Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe

It wouldn’t be the holidays without chocolate. This decadent, thick and delicious hot fudge sauce is one of the simplest ways to enjoy Eagle Brand® magic and tastes marvelous on simply everything.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Serving: 2 cups (500 mL)

Ingredients:

1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp (30 mL) butter or margarine
2 tbsp (30 mL) water
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla

Preparation:

1.  Melt chocolate chips with Eagle Brand, butter and water.
2.  Beat smooth with wire whisk if necessary.
3.  Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
4.  Serve warm over ice cream; or use as a fruit dipping sauce. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator, reheat to serve*.

Notes:

*To reheat sauces: In small heavy saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with small amount of water. Over low heat, stir constantly until heated through.
