Eagle Brand® Vanilla Ice Cream

Eagle Brand® Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

They all scream for Eagle Brand ice cream. The easiest ice cream recipe ever, you can add your own ingredients to the basic vanilla recipe to create your ideal ice cream dream. And no ice cream maker required.

Prep Time: 5 minutes plus freezing time
Serving: 10-12 servings


1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Regular or Low Fat sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp (30 mL) vanilla extract
2 cups (500 mL) whipping cream


1.  Combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
2.  Whip cream in a large bowl until thick and cream hold its shape. Fold whipped cream into sweetened condensed milk.
3.  Pour into 9” x 5” (2 L) loaf pan or an 8” x 8” (2 L) pan; cover well. Freeze 6 hours or until firm.


Variations: Fold in 2 cups (500 mL) of your favourite chocolate bars, chopped before freezing the ice cream. Chocolate: Add 2/3 cup (150 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate to Step 1. Mexican Chocolate: Add ½ tsp (2 mL) cinnamon and 1/8 tsp (.5 mL) cayenne to above chocolate variation. Strawberry: Add 1 cup (250 mL) puréed or mashed strawberries to Step 1.
