Fruit Tarts

Fruit Tarts Recipe

Treat your guests royally with these picture-perfect, creamy fruit tarts.

Prep Time: 15 minutes plus chilling time
Serving: 24 tarts


1 pkg (250 g) regular or light cream cheese, softened
1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup (75 mL) lemon juice
24 (3"/ 7 cm) baked tart shells
1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) vanilla extract
Assorted fresh fruit, sliced or whole*
1/3 cup (75 mL) apple jelly, melted


1.  Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
2.  Spoon equal portions into tart shells. Chill 30 minutes.
3.  Top with fruit of choice and brush with jelly. Chill 1 hour.


* If using canned fruit such as orange segments, fruit must be drained and dried before proceeding with the recipe.
