Peppermint Chocolate Fudge
This festive peppermint fudge actually glitters on your holiday table or in a gift container.
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus chilling time
Serving: about 2 lbs (about 1kg)
Ingredients:
1 pkg (350 g) milk chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (300 mL) Regular Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk
Dash salt
1/2 tsp (2 mL) peppermint extract
ΒΌ cup (50 mL) crushed hard peppermint candy
Preparation:
1. Over low heat, melt chocolate with Eagle Brand and salt. Remove from heat; stir in extract.
2. Spread evenly into parchment paper-lined 8" (2 L) or 9" (2.5 L) square pan. Sprinkle with peppermint candy.
3. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge from pan with paper; peel off and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
