Brownie Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients
- 1 pkg (24 oz / 680 g) fudge brownie mix
- 1 cup (250 mL) chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 pkg (250 g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter, softened
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) cornstarch
- 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla extract
- 2 squares (1 oz / 28 g each) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Directions
Step 1:
Prepare brownie mix as package directs. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread into greased 13" x 9" (3 L) baking pan.
Step 2:
With mixer, beat cream cheese, butter and cornstarch in large bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour cheesecake mixture evenly over brownie batter.
Step 3:
Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven 40 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cool. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Chill; cut into bars. (Refrigerate leftovers.)
