Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) unsifted flour
  • 1 cup (250 mL) quick-cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter, softened
  • 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg (175 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1:

Combine flour, oats, sugar and butter; mix well. Reserving 1/2 cup oat mixture, press remainder on bottom of 13" x 9" (3 L) parchment paper-lined baking pan. Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 10 minutes.

Step 2:

Pour Eagle Brand evenly over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and chips. Top with reserved oat mixture; press down firmly.

Step 3:

Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool; cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature.
