Double Delicious Cookie Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL each) peanut butter chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (500 mL) graham crumbs
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) butter, melted
  • 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vegetable shortening

Directions

Step 1:

Toss together 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) peanut butter and semi-sweet chips; set aside.

Step 2:

Combine crumbs with butter; press evenly onto parchment paper-lined 13 x 9 inch (3 L) baking pan. Pour Eagle Brand evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle with chip mixture; press down firmly.

Step 3:

Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 4:

Melt remaining chocolate with shortening. Drizzle over top. Chill and cut into bars.
