Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) cocoa
  • 1 egg, beaten*
  • 2 cups (500 mL) graham wafer crumbs
  • 1 cup (250 mL) flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) unsalted peanuts or walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) creamy peanut butter
  • 4 squares (1 oz each) semi-sweet chocolate

Directions

Step 1:

Combine butter, sugar, cocoa, egg, crumbs, coconut and peanuts. Press evenly into bottom of a parchment paper-lined 9" (2 L) square pan.

Step 2:

Combine sweetened condensed milk with peanut butter; cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Spread over base.

Step 3:

Melt chocolate and drizzle or spread over sweetened condensed milk layer.

Step 4:

Chill 2 hours or until firm. Store covered in the refrigerator.
