Ingredients

  • 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 squares (1 oz / 28 each) unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • 2 cups plus 2 tbsp (530 mL) packaged chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) miniature candy-coated milk chocolate candies or chopped nuts

Directions

Step 1:

Combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate; cook and stir over low heat just until boiling. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes more or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

Step 2:

Stir in vanilla. Stir in 2 cups (500 mL) cookie crumbs.

Step 3:

Spread evenly into parchment paper-lined 8" (2 L) square baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs and candies or nuts; press down gently with back of spoon. Cover and chill 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares. (Store covered in refrigerator.)
