Ingredients
- Base:
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) vanilla flavoured wafer crumbs (about 60 wafers)
- 1 cup (250 mL) sliced almonds
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) butter, melted
- Topping:
- 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 pkg (225 g) white chocolate chips (1 1/4 cups / 300 mL)
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) mini marshmallows
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Grease and line a 9” x 9” (2.5 L) baking dish with parchment paper, overlapping 2 sides to use as handles for easy removal.
Step 2:
Place vanilla flavoured wafers in food processor and process until you have fine crumbs. Place in medium sized bowl and add almonds and melted butter. Stir to combine well. Press evenly into prepared pan.
Step 3:
Combine topping ingredients in a large bowl. Stir to combine well. Pour over base. Spread to coat the base evenly.
Step 4:
Bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes. Cool thoroughly and cut into squares.
Tips
You can replace the vanilla wafer crumbs with graham cracker crumbs.
You can replace the sliced almonds with your favourite nuts, salted or unsalted.
