Almond Praline Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) slivered almonds, toasted and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter, melted
  • 3 pkgs (250 g each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) almond extract
  • *Almond Praline Topping (recipe follows)

Directions

Step 1:

Combine graham cracker crumbs, almonds, sugar and butter; press firmly on bottom of 9" (23 cm) springform pan.

Step 2:

Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand until smooth. Add eggs and extract; mix well. Pour into prepared pan.

Step 3:

Bake in preheated *300º F (150ºC) oven 55 to 60 minutes or until centre is set. Cool. Top with Almond Praline Topping. Chill. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
