Silky Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) milk
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp (10 mL) pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) whipped topping
Directions
Step 1:
Place sweetened condensed milk, milk, cocoa and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Stir to combine well.
Step 2:
Cook mixture, stirring frequently, on medium heat until slightly thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until melted. Strain mixture into bowl.
Step 3:
Wrap with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator 1 hour. Stir whipped topping into cold mixture. Top with additional whipped topping if desired. Serve.
Tip
This recipe is best eaten the same day it is made. Replace the semi-sweet chocolate chips for any of your favourite chocolate flavours.
