Ingredients
- 1 pkg (442 g) Robin Hood® Quick Bread Mix Lemon Poppy Seed baked as per package directions
- 1 pkg (442 g) Robin Hood® Quick Bread Mix Lemon Poppy Seed baked as per package directions
- 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 cups (500 mL) thick plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon zest
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
- 6 cups (1.5 L) strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or a combination
Directions
Step 1:
Cut lemon poppy seed loaf into 1” (2.5 cm) cubes.
Step 2:
Mix condensed milk and yogurt in a medium bowl. Add lemon juice, zest and vanilla. Whip until mixture thickens.
Step 3:
Place 1/3 of cubed cake on bottom of a 12 cup (3 L) trifle bowl. Add 1/3 of sweetened condensed milk mixture over cake. Sprinkle with 2 cups (500 mL) of berries.
Step 4:
Repeat with two additional layers. Chill at least 4 hours.
