Ingredients
- 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Dulce de Leche Caramel Flavoured Sauce
- 1 tsp (5 mL) sea salt
- 10 cups (2.5 L) popped popcorn
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2:
Combine caramel flavoured sauce and sea salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring frequently.
Step 3:
Continue cooking for 1 minute and remove from heat.
Step 4:
Place popcorn in a large bowl. Pour hot caramel mixture over popcorn. Stir to coat.
Step 5:
Transfer to prepared baking sheet and arrange in a single layer.
Step 6:
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Let cool completely and break into pieces.
Tip
To make sweet and spicy caramel popcorn simply add 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each of chipotle chili pepper powder and smoked paprika to the above.
