Ingredients
- 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) orange juice
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) each: ground cinnamon and nutmeg
- 3 apples peeled, cored and sliced
- 3 pears, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) frozen cranberries, thawed
- 1 cup (250 mL) all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) rolled oats
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) cold butter
Directions
Step 1:
Whisk together Eagle Brand, orange juice, and spices. Add apples, pears and cranberries; toss until fruit is well coated.
Step 2:
Spoon mixture into a lightly buttered 8 cup (2 L) baking dish; set aside.
Step 3:
Combine flour, oats and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle on top of apple mixture.
Step 4:
Bake in preheated 375ºF (190ºC) oven for 30-35 minutes or until fruit has softened.
Step 5:
Serve warm with ice cream.
