Ingredients
- 1 9” / 23 cm pastry shell, unbaked
- 1 can (300 mL) Original or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) hot water
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) vanilla extract
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- nutmeg
Directions
Step 1:
Combine Eagle Brand, water, salt, and vanilla. Add eggs; mix well. Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Step 2:
In preheated oven 425°F (220°C) bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300°F (150°C) and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted near centre comes out clean. Cool to room temperature; Chill.
