Ingredients
- 1 can (300 mL) Eagle Brand® Original or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) corn syrup
- 2 cups (500 mL) pecan halves
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
- vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
Directions
Step 1:
In a double boiler over medium-high heat, cook sweetened condensed milk, butter and brown sugar together, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Add pecans and cook for another 5 -10 minutes, or until sauce is medium brown in colour. Stir in vanilla.
Step 2:
Serve with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
