Hot Fudge Sauce

Hot Fudge Sauce

  • Makes: 2 cups (500 mL)  
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes 


1 cup250 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can300 ml Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

2 tbsp30 ml butter or margarine

2 tbsp30 ml water

1 tsp5 ml vanilla


  1 Melt chocolate chips with Eagle Brand, butter and water.

  2 Beat smooth with wire whisk if necessary.

  3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  4 Serve warm over ice cream; or use as a fruit dipping sauce. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator, reheat to serve.
